TACKLE RUGBY PROGRAM
Tackle Program (grades 5-12)
In conjunction with Rugby PA, White Horse Youth Rugby is proud to be able to offer several tackle programs for ages 6-18. These program are designed to be a bridge from flag rugby to developing players into collegiate athletes.
NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY!
Coed Youth Program (grades 5-7)
Introduction to full contact tackle rugby. This is the first step for players getting to build on concepts that they learn in flag but also adding in the full contact tackle into the game. Our #1 focus is always SAFETY. We teach proper body mechanics, positioning and safety measures for each player to keep themselves and their fellow field mates safe as well.
Girls/Boys Junior Program (grades 8-9)
The next step in youth tackle rugby. Hone skills and learn advanced play. Work on field positioning and try all the positions, work with coaching to help you find a comfortable place on the field.
SEASON COSTS
+ $100 for player dues
PRACTICES
February 12th - May 26
Mondays/Wednesdays -Practice time will vary depending on the age group of the program.
Outdoor Practices are held at Veterans Park located at 192 Mowere Rd, Phoenixville PA 19460.
